Worship The Lord Your God, And Serve Him Only

Worship Amidst Covid-19

As far as we are able, with God’s help:

  • We will pray daily.
  • We will worship with others regularly.
  • We will look and listen for God in Scripture, and the world.

Methodists believe in what our founder, John Wesley, called ‘social holiness’. It is vital to meet and worship together in order to grow in the Christian life and to understand what is God’s will for us and for our community. However, in these recent difficult times, God has shown us we can do this without depending on being in our church buildings.

We have been sharing weekly service sheets and recording our services and, although we have been using these at different times from the comfort of our own homes, many have found this powerfully uniting. We are grateful to friends at Baildon for developing our talents and skills for providing online worship. We invite you to join us.

As we ease out of lockdown some of our churches are returning to in-person worship. Our Circuit Plan lists our churches and gives details of how they are worshipping.
